When everything seemed to go wrong
At the Praise the Lord Service held at Bibury Church, so many things seemed to go wrong that I wondered whether it had been worth it at all.
But then I realised—if just one of the following things had happened, it would have been worth everything.
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ We held a Praise the Lord Service, giving Him glory.
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ Before the service began, I had the chance to witness to a large group of visitors who came into the church. I shared with them Knowing God Personally booklets.
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ Three people came to faith!
A lady and her daughter, Georgina, both Catholics.
An Italian man named Loglivio.
His girlfriend was in floods of tears but couldn’t yet ask Jesus to be Lord, simply because I asked her. She said she would think about it. I told her the Holy Spirit was working in her heart. Her boyfriend promised to help her understand more.
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ We enjoyed true fellowship with one another.
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ People heard the wonderful I AM sayings of Jesus in a powerful way.
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ A lady with Alzheimer’s was able to share with a husband and wife details of the research programme she was part of—and she was able to pray with them!
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ My grandson created a film for Zoom. Another grandson, who is autistic, came along and was allowed to shoot some footage with his camera. His clips were then included in the final film—to encourage him. Such a kind thought!
IF ALL THAT HAPPENED WAS…
✨ We learned again that we are overcomers—by persevering and trusting in God.
In the end, it wasn’t about what went wrong. It was about what God made right.
